Stereo

Album release June 21, 2026

Take a reverb-soaked, vintage-timbred ride through laid-back grooves and textural harmony.

The cover art is a stereoptic photograph by Matt Janson. Use stereoptic glasses or cross your eyes for a 3D effect.

We know this will be categorized as an EP, but we think of it as a modern LP for shorter attention spans. Tracks 1-3 are Side A, 4-6 Side B.

A lot of light/dark contrast, with texture being more important than guitar acrobatics or flashiness. Jim plays all of the instruments, except our friends, Candra Rios and John Simpkins, play tenor sax and trumpet on track 4.

1. Sunrise

The first song we wrote after moving to the Western Slope of Colorado. The track captures the spirit of the terrain and its people. Though the song itself is about motivation – or lack thereof.

2. The Wall

If you know, you know.

3. All I Ever

Jim’s 25th anniversary love letter to Tanya.

4. I Was Wrong

Jim had been a part time musician and working a desk job when he heard the shocking news that Prince died. It made him realize how precious our time is, and to spend it doing things that are important to us. So he quit his day job to pursue music full time. He eventually talked Tanya into doing the same. They sold most of their stuff, rented out their house and hit the road.

5. Haunted

Jim and Tanya’s personal favorite from the record. It's a rare treat to hear this one live.

6. Strange Vine

A reimagining of the Delta Spirit classic. The song that sparked Jim and Tanya's journey as The Ordinary Two.
